Jewelry Repair Services

At Farsi Jewelers, jewelry repair is more than a service — it's a commitment to preserving what matters most. Repairs are done in-house by a GIA-trained jeweler, from simple ring sizing and chain fixes to full heirloom restoration. We've served Sandy Springs and the greater Atlanta area since 1998, and we treat every piece as if it's irreplaceable — because to you, it is.

Repairs We Do

  • Ring sizing & resizing — up or down, including engagement and wedding rings
  • Chain & necklace repair — solder breaks, clasp replacement, re-stringing
  • Prong re-tipping & rebuilding — secure loose stones before they're lost
  • Stone setting & replacement — diamonds, gemstones, lost-stone replacement
  • Rhodium plating — restore the bright white finish on white-gold pieces
  • Heirloom & antique restoration — careful, reversible work on sentimental pieces
  • Watch battery & band service — quick in-store battery replacement and fitting
  • Pearl & bead re-stringing
  • Cleaning, polishing & inspection

What We Can Quote Up Front

A few common services have set starting prices:

  • Rhodium plating — $75
  • Watch battery replacement — $20–$25
  • Ring sizing — from $75 for yellow gold (white gold runs higher, since it includes rhodium plating)

Why Most Repairs Are Quoted in Person

As a specialty shop working with high-end and one-of-a-kind pieces, most repairs depend on details we need to see first — the metal and the current price of gold, how wide or detailed the band is, and whether there are stones involved. A clasp can range widely by type, and prong re-tipping or stone work depends on whether it's a diamond or a color stone, and whether that stone can safely take heat. Rather than quote you a number that changes once we look, we give you an honest, accurate price after we've seen the piece. The best way to get a price is to call us or bring your piece in.

Areas We Serve

Customers bring repairs to our Sandy Springs studio from across metro Atlanta, including Roswell, Dunwoody, Marietta, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Alpharetta and surrounding areas. We're easy to reach off Roswell Road — most small repairs can be dropped off and picked up within a few days.

Repair FAQ

Who does jewelry repair near Sandy Springs?
We do — in-house, by a GIA-trained jeweler. No shipping your piece off to a third party.

Do you resize engagement rings?
Yes. We resize engagement and wedding rings in most metals and can advise when a ring is better re-shanked than stretched.

How long does a repair take?
Most sizings, chain fixes, and battery changes are done within a few business days. Restoration work is quoted individually.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for quotes and drop-off. Booking a time means we can look at your piece with you right away.
