What happens: During your consultation at our Sandy Springs showroom, we discuss your style preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget. You'll see examples of different ring styles, lab-grown diamond and natural diamond options, and metal choices.
Within 2-3 business days, I create a precise CAD wireframe design in MatrixGold software. This technical drawing shows all measurements, proportions, and structural elements—essentially the blueprint of your ring.
Your input: Review the wireframe and request any adjustments to proportions, stone sizes, or overall design direction. Changes at this stage are quick and easy.
Timeline: 1-3 days from consultation to wireframe approval
Step 2: Photorealistic CAD Rendering
What happens: Once you approve the wireframe, I create a photorealistic shaded rendering that shows your ring with actual metal colors (yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, or platinum) and simulated stone brilliance.
This isn't a sketch or basic illustration—it's a high-quality render that shows how light will interact with the metal and stones. You can see prong shapes, milgrain details, engraving, and side stone placement with clarity.
Your input: This is where you can test variations. Want to see it in rose gold instead of white gold? Different side stone shapes? I can generate multiple versions so you can compare options side-by-side.

Step 3: 3D Wax Prototype & Try-On (Optional)
What happens: For clients who want a physical preview before casting, we create a 3D-printed wax prototype. This is an exact replica of your design that you can wear to see how it feels on your hand and looks from every angle in real lighting.
The wax model matches the exact weight, proportions, and finger fit of your final ring (without the stones). This step is particularly popular for unique designs, wide bands, or when you're deciding between finger sizes.
Your input: Try it on, take photos, wear it for a day. If you want any final adjustments to width, height, or comfort fit, we can make changes before casting the metal.
Note: With our new 360° visualization technology, many clients feel confident moving directly from Step 2.5 to Step 4, skipping the physical wax prototype. This saves 3-5 days in production time.
