Product Details
A moval cathedral solitaire in solid 14K yellow gold, custom designed around a 3.08 carat lab-grown moval diamond, E color, VVS2 clarity. Made at our Sandy Springs store.
About the shape. Moval is a blend of marquise and oval: the long outline and softly pointed tips of a marquise, with the rounded shoulders of an oval. The points are gentler than a true marquise, so they are less exposed to knocks, and the long outline stretches down the finger the way an oval does. It is not a standard cut you will find in a case, which is why moval rings are almost always custom designs built around a specific stone.
Center stone: 3.08 carat lab-grown moval diamond, E color, VVS2 clarity, independently graded. The report number is listed with the product details.
The setting. A cathedral solitaire: four prongs hold the moval, and the band rises on each side to meet the head, so the stone is carried by the shank itself rather than by a separate basket. No side stones and nothing else competing with it. The band is kept clean so the moval outline is the whole story. The image is the CAD render the ring will be cast from.
Made to order. Custom engagement rings are designed and made at our Sandy Springs store and take 2 to 3 weeks. Each one is priced for the stone and design in front of us, so a version of this ring in a different carat weight, metal color, or with a natural diamond is quoted individually. Paid in full at the time of order.
Shipping & Pickup
Every package we send is fully insured and requires a signature — no exceptions. Orders of $349 and up ship free within the U.S., typically in 3–4 business days, with faster UPS air options available at checkout.
We ship through Parcel Pro, a UPS company that specializes in insured jewelry shipping. If waiting at home for a signature is inconvenient, your package can be routed to a nearby UPS Store instead — you receive a secure code by email and collect it whenever suits you. Residential deliveries require someone over 21 to sign.
Orders placed by 2:00 PM ET for ready-to-ship items ship the same day; orders placed after 2:00 PM ET ship the next business day. For made-to-order pieces, please allow 15 business days; if you need it sooner, email us — we accommodate rush orders regularly.
In-store pickup is always free at our Sandy Springs showroom.
Lifetime Care
Bring your piece back to us any time for cleaning, inspection and re-tightening — no charge. We check the stones and prongs while you wait.
Many repairs are done the same day, on our own bench in Sandy Springs, by the people who made it. Ring sizing and prong repair typically take four to five days.
We use responsibly sourced materials, including lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold.

Ring sizing is complimentary on our stock pieces, and made-to-order rings are built to your size from the start. Matching a band to a ring you already wear? Bring it in — a straight-edged band sits flush against a straight ring, and if yours curves we will cut a contour band to fit it instead.
