A band of bronze runs down the center of this 8mm ring, worked with a cracked, fractured texture and recessed below the surface so it sits in shadow. On either side the grey tantalum is left smooth and satin with straight edges, and the warm bronze against the cool grey is the whole point of the design. Benchmark calls this one the Stud.

About tantalum
Tantalum is element 73: a naturally dark blue-grey metal, genuinely scarce, and dense enough that it sits heavier on the hand than 14K gold — closer to the weight of 18K. The tantalum will not tarnish and will not corrode, it contains no nickel, and it's the same metal used in orthopedic and dental implants. The tantalum here is in its natural state, with no plating and no coating; the center is a separate bronze inlay, a different metal with its own character, so it reads warm against the grey rather than matching it.

Shipping & Pickup
Every package we send is fully insured and requires a signature — no exceptions. Orders of $349 and up ship free within the U.S., typically in 3–4 business days, with faster UPS air options available at checkout.
We ship through Parcel Pro, a UPS company that specializes in insured jewelry shipping. If waiting at home for a signature is inconvenient, your package can be routed to a nearby UPS Store instead — you receive a secure code by email and collect it whenever suits you. Residential deliveries require someone over 21 to sign.
Orders placed by 2:00 PM ET for ready-to-ship items ship the same day; orders placed after 2:00 PM ET ship the next business day. For made-to-order pieces, please allow 15 business days; if you need it sooner, email us — we accommodate rush orders regularly.
In-store pickup is always free at our Sandy Springs showroom.

Bring your piece back to us any time for cleaning, inspection and re-tightening — no charge. We check the stones and prongs while you wait.
Many repairs are done the same day, on our own bench in Sandy Springs, by the people who made it. Ring sizing and prong repair typically take four to five days.
We use responsibly sourced materials, including lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold.
