What makes a ring "vintage-style"

Vintage-style borrows its detail work from earlier design eras — hand-applied milgrain (a beaded texture along an edge), filigree (fine, lacy metalwork, often pierced through), engraved shoulders, and compass-set or scalloped bands. None of that detail comes from an old ring; it's built fresh, at full strength, on a modern setting that's engineered to hold up to daily wear the way a hundred-year-old original often can't.

Why vintage-style should be built custom

Filigree and milgrain are hand-applied detail work — they hold up best when they're engineered into the design from the start, not added as an afterthought to a plain setting. Our Farsi 3D Bespoke Method lets you see the detail work in a photorealistic 3D render and on a 3D-printed wax model before anything is cast. We were among the first jewelers in Georgia to adopt CAD design back in 2004, and every vintage-style ring we make goes through this process.

Yes, when it's engineered properly. We build the detail work into the design from the start rather than adding it to an already-thin setting, so milgrain and filigree hold up the same way the rest of the ring does.
